The event is not a competition but a standard set by the state in which the band achieves at higher levels as it masters those concepts. “According to those standards established by the state, we are performing at the highest level possible.” – Dan Stout, Band Director. At marching competitions, the band regularly finishes with high scores and often in the top of their class.
